It is generally a mail-order service, with enquiries received by letter, telephone and increasingly by e-mail.
Orders can be despatched worldwide, and China Matching can even offer a gift-wrapping service if anyone would like to purchase a surprise gift to be delivered direct to the recipient. If a pattern is not immediately available the customer's requirements are kept on a register and a search will be made to try to locate any pieces. Miriam lives in a beautiful holiday area, and many a visitor has dropped in with a broken piece to enable her to see the pattern required.
The service is both personal and very useful, and the return customers and the many letters of thanks are testimony to its efficiency.
